Enjoy Southern Charm, Hospitality at an Atlanta Bed and Breakfast

For travelers, Atlanta has much to offer. There are plenty of historic attractions, as well quirky boutiques, upscale shopping, outdoor activities and tons of fantastic restaurants. Atlanta bed and breakfasts are yet another reason to visit this Southern gem. Here are some B&Bs to consider on your next trip to this amazing Georgia city:

Located just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Ponce de Leon Place Bed and Breakfast offers both relaxing accommodations and close access to historic sites, museums, shops and restaurants. The four guest rooms include special features such as private patios, a pot-bellied stove or perhaps a Jacuzzi tub.

Buckhead, a stylish enclave of Atlanta known for its gracious homes, upscale shopping and fine cuisine is where you’ll find the Beverly Hills Inn. This Atlanta bed and breakfast is located in a historic three-story building constructed in 1929. There are 18 suites and rooms, each with a different decor. Guests can walk to shops and cafes.

Located in Atlanta’s eclectic arts and theater district, Stonehurst Place is full of historic charm. This Atlanta bed and breakfast was built in 1896 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The home was owned by the same family for a century, so much of its original charm has been preserved. There are five guest rooms, each with a fireplace. The grounds include a koi pond and gardens.

Located near downtown, the Virginia Highland Bed and Breakfast is located in historic Craftsman-style home in a garden setting. Two of the guest rooms include a whirlpool tub. The King-Keith House is one of Atlanta’s most photographed buildings with its charming Victorian architecture and colorful paint scheme. The bed and breakfast is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and features guests rooms decorated in period style with antiques. Some rooms have a Jacuzzi or clawfoot tub. The innkeepers serve a gourmet, full breakfast each morning. This Atlanta bed and breakfast is located near downtown in the city’s Inman Park neighborhood.
