If you are contemplating giving up piano let me inspire you.
I had a piano before that but I would not consider what I was doing piano playing. I used to tap two notes on the piano, kind of a mad scientist finger dance and thought I was hot stuff.

Though I could learn the entire sight reading thing, I required some liberty to do what I would have liked to do. I did not actually learn that much from them any way except the way to form chords on the piano.

I put my keyboard away for years never to be played again ( or so I presumed ). One summer vacation I took a trip to Florida. I didn’t find an overwhelming piano player who had never been in a position to read music nor did he know what the notes on a piano where.

After seeing this fellow who was so wealthy on the piano who could not read any music whatsoever, I was really stirred to take a 2nd look the piano I had thrown in the back of the closet year back. I took it out, dusted it off and commenced to work out the way to play the piano.
I started having a look at the way to play the piano by ear. This may be a glorious starting place while playing the piano regardless of what the majority think.
This strategy is fun and it’ll incredibly raise your experience of the piano. Don’t give up playing the piano and if you are not playing at this time, there’s no better time than the present to begin learning to play the piano.
